Today we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium which was amazing! We started in my favourite part - jellyfish! The way they glow in the tanks is breathtaking. We then watched the otter feeding which was so cute - they have are part of otter rescue and rehabilitation, the otters in the aquarium are the ones unable to return to the wild, and the females are used to help raise rescued baby otters :) next was the Open Ocean big tank feeding - the school of sardines was amazing to watch, especially when the sharks or dolphin fish swooped in to try and catch any stragglers! There were also two huge turtles! After lunch we went to the Tenticles habitat, which was quite interesting and the cuttlefish were awesome, such funny creatures, especially the ones that changed patterns/colours! We met an Albatross who was rescued as a chick and unable to fly, wing span is huge! Saw some puffins and said hello to a few stimg rays splasing around in the touch pool, and yea, usual kind of aquarium stuff :)
